New Client Interview by Fax, Mail or Phone. Important Questions To Find Cost-Effective Results and Bankable Solutions by Andrew S. Linick, Ph.D.The Copyologist® Thank you for your time. I would like to ask you a few questions about your company so I can have a better grasp of how our services might be useful to you. To begin the process, here's my three-step interview approach (IA). We want to learn how you think. What your values and priorities are. And most important, what you feel are the problem issues, constraints and opportunities facing your company. Interview Approach - Step One 1. What are you most particularly pleased about your company this year? 2. What's going very well for you now? 3. What is it about your company that is unique and distinguishes it from your competition?
Interview Approach - Step Two 4. What is not going as well? 5. What are the two or three things that you are most concerned about at present?
Interview Approach - Step Three 6. What are some of the things that still need to be done but for lack of time, money or management you just have not been able to address? Additional questions to get the best and most productive solutions to your problems. 01. What are you trying to accomplish? 02. What is the purpose of this meeting today? 03. What do you want to do? 04. What are your goals? 05. What do you want to happen as a result of our work together? 06. What are you looking for? 07. What do you need? 08. What do you want to happen next? 09. What's the next step? 10. Where do we go from here? 11. What exactly is it you want us to do for you? 12. What should we be doing for you that we are not currently doing? 13. That's interesting. Can you tell me more about that? 14. What do you mean by that? 15. Please explain what you mean by that? 16. Which of these things are most important to you? 17. What are your priorities? 18. What have you been doing to handle this problem up until now? 19. What would you have us do for you to be ecstatic with our work on this project? 20. What are the benefits you are hoping to get out of this? 21. What else have you done to try to address this requirement? 22. Who else have you worked with or used in the past? 23. What is the biggest problem your company is facing right now? 24. What else do you want to cover today? 25. Is there anything you want to ask me that I haven't told you? 26. Is there anything else I should have asked you that I didn't?
