For New Products Editor Robert Kaplan’s column "Electronic/Entertainment New Product Trends," I am seeking releases on: all types of new products; food and healthy snack products; books; home video and CD releases; major/small appliances; telephones; portable faxes—any products I can rate (much like Consumers Report) but for positive press. Products that do not meet our standards of excellence are skipped over. We do not believe in negative PR unless forced to do so for safety reasons. I send tearsheets whenever a release appears in my columns.

Both columns are also syndicated and are picked up on PR Newswires National and International circuits including EntertainmentWire, HealthWire and Travel FeaturesWire. Press trips and independent media visits are normally booked two to six months in advance. However, if you have an event or trip with a closer deadline, call for possible coverage. Sometimes we can switch trips around if the airlines/official host carrier hasn’t issued tickets. Based on last minute changes, we'll try our best to cover your special event(s).
